Here is the poster I designed using a Virtual Boy motif for Chicago’s first Bit Bash, a party to celebrate indie games and developers that you can read about more here: http://www.chicagoreader.com/Bleader/archives/2014/08/28/bit-bash-puts-chicagos-indie-gaming-scene-in-the-spotlight
And they’re donating the money they raise to a good cause so it’s all win win. Here’s hoping they pick my poster design for the few they’re printing, as well as a few other very talented friends who submitted to it.
Also included one with the alt colors before I red’ed it up.
It’s the 33rd episode and the 33rd of July, and you know what that means: it’s Wyrm Day! This week we bring you live coverage of the great wyrm’s emergence from the center of the Earth as well as a variety of viewpoints on the vagaries of human sexuality. And of course some light comedy from ya boy, Ritchie Davenport!
Things take a turn this week as your lover envelops you in her damp, stained leather sheets, some disturbing truths about Ghostbusters are revealed, and the cosmic forces vying for Dusty McClavin’s soul really get serious. Hope you’ve tied your shoes securely.
The state of constantly increasing entropy in the universe is the theme this week. Dusty McClavin nears his breaking point, morning talk radio recognizes the futility of existence, Garfield fan conventions proliferate across the globe, and women everywhere emit odorless fluid from their buttholes once a year. It’s a terrifying, meaningless world out there, friends. Have fun. :)
More poster work, I AM A CHICAGO COMEDY POSTER MACHINE. Seriously though, as always, go to these shows if you’re in the area. I love the idea of Pressure’s showcase poster always being an illustration of some poor creature about to be crushed.
Here’s the poster I illustrated for the first comedy show that I’ll be producing and put together. I am very excited for this and it feels like an accumulation of all the things I’ve been doing in comedy and art lately.
If you’re in Chicago or by Chicago, make this show! You won’t regret it. And if you like art, like and reblog this post!
